INPERSO at the Inaugural e-CODOMH Conference 2025

The inaugural e-CODOMH Conference 2025, organised by the e-CODOMH Cluster, took place on 11–12 November at the National Center for Research in Natural Sciences “DEMOKRITOS.”

The event brought together key stakeholders from the construction industry to exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions shaping the sector’s future.

INPERSO actively participated in the conference, represented by partners CORE IC, MIRTEC, AMS, and UPV. The project contributed two dedicated presentations highlighting its progress, innovations, and ongoing research activities.

INPERSO Presentations

🔹 Industrialised and Personalised Renovation for Sustainable Societies – The INPERSO Project
José Luis Alapont Ramón / Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)
The project’s Technical Manager, José Luis Alapont Ramón, presented INPERSO’s integrated approach to industrialised deep renovation. His talk covered the project’s advancements in modular prefabrication, personalised renovation pathways, and the deployment of digital tools designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. He also shared insights from the project's demonstration sites, where INPERSO solutions are being tested in real-life renovation scenarios.

🔹 Mapping Sustainability in Construction Material Supply Chains – The INPERSO Project
Dia Andreouli / MIRTEC S.A.
This second presentation focused on INPERSO’s work in analysing and improving sustainability across construction material supply chains. Dia Andreouli showcased methodologies used to trace environmental performance, assess material circularity, and promote more sustainable procurement and design choices within renovation processes.

🔹 SmartWall System and Its Implementation in EU Projects
Sofia Papadopoulou / AMS
This presentation explored the SmartWall system developed by AMS and its application across European renovation initiatives. Importantly, it included components and technical solutions that are also utilised within the INPERSO project.

Beyond its presentations, INPERSO engaged in discussions with fellow Horizon Europe projects, research institutions, and industry representatives. The conference provided a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge on policy developments, digitalisation in construction, and the future of industrialised renovation in Europe.

INPERSO’s participation reflects its commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing, contributing to a more sustainable, energy-efficient, and digitally enabled built environment. The consortium looks forward to continued cooperation within the e-CODOMH Cluster and to advancing innovative renovation practices across Europe.

Participation in the e-CODOMH Conference underscores INPERSO’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and the dissemination of best practices that support a more sustainable built environment. The consortium looks forward to further engagement within the e-CODOMH Cluster and to continuing its mission of transforming renovation processes for a greener and more efficient future.
