INPERSO 7th General Assembly: Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing, and Hands-On Innovation in Milan 🇮🇹

The INPERSO consortium gathered on 7-8 October 2025 in Milan, Italy, at the headquarters of R2M Solution, for the project’s 7th General Assembly.

This two-day meeting went far beyond progress updates: it was a dynamic, interactive experience filled with colllaboration, mutual learning, and open exchange of expertise. The partners met to discuss ongoing achievements, align future activities, and ensure a smooth transition into the project’s final phase.

Project Updates and Strategic Discussions

The meeting opened with a comprehensive review of INPERSO’s progress across all Work Packages. Each partner shared updates on their latest activities and outcomes, highlighting both achievements and challenges encountered along the way.

These presentations offered a complete picture of where the project stands and where it’s heading, ensuring all partners remain align on common objectives.

After these strategic sessions, the focus shifted from presentations to hands-on collaboration. Partners had the opportunity to engage more deeply with INPERSO’s technical developments through a series of three interactive workshops, designed to foster knowledge exchange and practical understanding.

Workshop 1: INPERSO Tools

The first workshop focused on the innovative tools developed within INPERSO, offering hands-on insights into how they contribute to smart, sustainable building renovation.

  • SCAAI (Scan to BIM)

  • RIALTO (AR-enabled solution)

  • ECO-I (IEQ integration)

  • MuSECS (Energy Efficiency)

  • Sensors Suite: devices, connections, data monitoring

This session was crucial for strengthening the consortium’s synergy and understanding, allowing partners to better appreciate how each component integrates into the INPERSO ecosystem.

Workshop 2: RE Suite Platform

The second workshop provided a closer look at the RE Suite Platform, a central digital solution of INPERSO. The session included:

  • Success Case of Demonstration Case #2

  • Review of Demonstration Case #1 - Current State Model

  • Project Management and Building Passport

  • SO1 Demonstration and Next Steps

Workshop 3: Exploitation for Partners

The final workshop shifted focus toward exploitation and market uptake. Partners explored current market trends, business opportunities, and potential exploitation strategies to ensure that INPERSO’s tools and methodologies achieve long-lasting impact beyond the project’s end.

This discussion underlined a shared commitment to bringing INPERSO’s innovations closer to the market and to end users, maximising societal and environmental value.
